Cobalt's Aquarium Hermit Crab Salts are naturally derived solar salts that are used to help reduce stress of freshwater fish. Helps fish slime up and replenishes natual electrolytes that can be easily lost when fish are stressed. If tank water quality is not ideal and nitrite is present, the use of Cobalt Aquarium Salt will temporarily block the toxic effects of nitrite to the fish until water quality can be improved. Unlike table salt, Cobalt Aquarium Salt contains no artificial color or iodine and contains calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, magnesium sulfate, and sodium chloride.
